National Accountant Assessment & Certification Centre was formed in August 2001, the mission of which is organizing National Certification Examination for Accounting and assessing the accountants. The concrete duties of NAACC are as follows: setting the rules, regulations and schedules for the examination, organizing the examination registration, setting the questions for the examination, lead the national examination grading work, organizing the compilation of the textbooks and assessing the accountants.
Since the establishment, the NAACC is devoted to training and assessing of Chinese accountant professionals, whose aim is to be open, fair, practical and innovative. The NAACC makes a lot of contribution to the construction of economy of China and the development of accounting career.

Recent years, based on the management concept of scientification and precision, the NAACC has constantly enhanced examination management, improved the quality of the questions of papers and perfected the textbooks. The NAACC built its official website, explored the system of examination information management, implemented the online registration for examination, online allocation for exam rooms, online exam paper grading, online admission ticket printing, releasing results online and enquiry the certificates online, which significantly optimize the process of examination management. Furthermore, the NAACC successfully reformed the primary level examination in 2010, which contributes to the progress of accountants’ assessment.
